D&B has set up and managed several credit bureaus globally and its
premier position is due to its international presence, extensive expertise
in the business information industry, technical know-how, project
management processes and product & systems development
skills.
D&B is playing a vital role in setting up Commercial
and Consumer Credit Bureaus throughout the Philippinesin order
to assist local Central Banks and Monetary Authorities in controlling
the level of Non-Performing Loans in the region.
D&B’s Credit Bureau Solutions are either Integrated or
Modular
- D&B Integrated Credit Bureau Solutions: D&B provides
integrated credit bureau solutions through which members can get
information on individuals and companies in an integrated credit report
which links information available in both the Commercial and Consumer
Credit Bureaus.
- D&B Modular Credit Bureau Solutions: While D&B
provides integrated credit bureau solutions, the commercial and consumer
bureau solutions can also be configured to work independently with no
links between them.
A successful Credit Bureau implementation
requires quick and systematic porting of borrower data into the Credit
Bureau database. In order to facilitate this, D&B has prepared
software tools to facilitate data mapping and porting

- Data Entry Tools
- Validation Tools
D&B also provides Data
Migration services to complement the software tools.
Once
implemented, the Credit Bureau can provide various product groups to
credit grantors such as Risk Assessment Solutions, Prospecting Solutions
