Business Optimism Index (BOI)
Business Optimism Index is one of the latest additions to D&B’s global series of Business Optimism Indexes. The Business Optimism Index in the Philippines is issued on a quarterly basis. It is widely recognized as an indicator measuring the pulse of the business community and serving as a reliable benchmark for investors. It will be one of the most effective ways to keep track of where the Philippine economy is moving according to how businesses think.
The index is arrived at on the basis of a quarterly survey of business expectations conducted on a sample of companies selected as a microcosmic representation of the country’s business community including companies from various sectors.
